Like a droplet in water, concentric rings spread outward and cover the scene. The image disappears as waves pass instead of vanishing all at once.
`progress` defaults to 0.5 and ranges from 0 to 1; `center` defaults to {x: 0.5, y: 0.5} and marks the source of the waves. `rings` defaults to 8 and ranges from 2 to 40 for the ring count. `feather` defaults to 0.2 and ranges from 0 to 1 for overlap between neighboring rings; `invert` defaults to false and wipes from the outside inward.
Place an image or video beneath the effect. For a scene transition, put the new scene on a lower layer and animate progress. More rings make the pattern denser; low feather can make individual rings pop and feel busy.
When to use
Use it for water-like scene changes, center-out reveals, or effects aligned with circular graphics. Avoid it on calm screens that should have almost no motion.
